Fifth Third Bank Cancels Marco Polo

Who on the Board of Directors at Fifth Third Bank got "the call" from someone connected to the U.S. first family?

We've been meaning to publish this story since last fall, but a frivolous lawsuit filed against our nonprofit by Joe's disgraced son around the same time we received the letter below forced us to "chop the wood that was in front of us," as they say, & come back to it at a later time. That time is now.

Marco Polo (MP) is certainly aware of—and has been fighting—the economic & cultural Bolshevism which has a chokehold on America. Therefore, MP maintains bank accounts with local, non-public banks who do not support economic & cultural Bolshevism. Nevertheless, some donors to our group wish to wire funds due to the ease of record-keeping when utilizing that method. The aforementioned small banks use correspondent banks for wire transfers, which makes the process more confusing. As a result, MP opened a checking account at Fifth Third Bank primarily to receive wire donations because Fifth Third Bank does not use correspondent banks for wire transfers, making the process easier. Our sole checking account was in use for a mere 5 months, its balance never exceeded $35k, & handled only half a dozen wire transfers when we received the following letter via snail mail:

Predictably (and pathetically), Lurline aka Lee Ferris—the emissary for Fifth Third Bank's president who delivered the news—refused to elaborate on which aspect of our checking account "exceed[ed] the Bank's risk appetite." Lurline was unable to specify any provision of the account agreement we had supposedly violated. In effect, it's fair to state that not only is Ferris one of the many cowardly foot soldiers ushering in economic Bolshevism, but she is also not a very good sophist—you'd think she would have at least come up with an excuse, however ridiculous, before calling & writing to us.

However, we do know that Joe's former colleague in the U.S. Senate, Evan Bayh, is a "Senior Advisor" to Fifth Third Bank's Board of Directors. Furthermore, Joe appointed Bayh to the President's Intelligence Advisory Board just a year before Fifth Third Bank canceled us. See below:

We urge all Americans of good will to pull all funds from Fifth Third Bank as soon as practicable; they are a despicable organization full of merchants who engage in economic Bolshevism.
